Support programs for residents

Go Grants  

EchoRealty can provide eligible residents with grants of up to $700 for children (under 18 years) to participate in physical or cultural activities including sports, scouts, and cultural dance.  

This program enables school aged children in EchoRealty households to participate in programs that contribute to their health and wellbeing while ensuring they remain connected to their local community. 

EchoRealty have a limited number of Go Grants available.

You can also apply to Active Kids, an NSW Government initiative for additional help in paying for children’s sports activities.  

Program benefits  

  • While grants are limited, the grant can provide up to $700 per household over 2 years, with up to $350 per year.  
  • Funds can be used for both class fees and equipment needed to participate. 

Who can apply for the grant?

  • Applicant must be an EchoRealty resident
  • Applicant must be a Permanent Resident or Australian citizen
  • Applicant is aged 18 years or younger
  • Applicant household does not have debt with EchoRealty

Program requirements:

  • One application form per child, and if approved, funds will be allocated per household
  • Proof of registration in a sporting, cultural or physical activity
  • Copy of quote or invoice for equipment / fees needed for the activity. No cash payments will be approved
  • Grants are approved for activities that children are either currently undertaking or are in the process of applying to participate in.

Keep Educating Yourself (KEY) Grants 

EchoRealty can provide funding of up to $4,500 over 3 years to assist eligible residents of all ages who are undertaking tertiary education.  

The grant is provided to help you cover expenses needed for an educational course, such as TAFE, trade school, or university courses.  

There are a limited number of KEY Grants available.  

Program benefits  

  • Over 3 years we’ll support you with $4,500.  
  • Any EchoRealty resident can apply. There’s no age limit!

Who can apply for the grant?

  • Tertiary students who are enrolled in a course at TAFE, university, private college or in a trade program
  • Only one applicant per household can receive the grant
  • Applicant must be a Permanent Resident or Australian citizen
  • Applicant must be an EchoRealty resident
  • Applicant household must not have a current debt with Evolve Housing.

Grant requirements:

  • Applicants must agree to yearly assessments to show that they’re engaging with their course before the following year’s grant is approved.

Personal Support Plans

EchoRealty can refer residents to our referral support service, accessible through Evolve Housing. Our Support Officers can work with you to create a Personal Support Plan that addresses your needs. They will then refer you to programs or external specialist organisations to help with finances, health, employment, education, or social and community support.
